Israel: Proof that God’s Promises Still Stand Today

October 25, 2023

As you’ve likely seen in recent weeks, we are witnessing just the latest horrific attack against the Jewish people—the most persecuted people group in the history of the world.

Despite the Holocaust of 6 million Jews at the hand of Hitler’s Nazi regime just decades ago, antisemitism is again on the rise across the globe. It's ever-present in the Middle East, where the beginning charter of most nations refuses to even recognize the State of Israel and promises to eradicate the Jews from the face of the Earth.

But it's not just in the Middle East where Jews are under threat. Right here in America, we have witnessed high school students hold walkouts in support of Hamas and college students signing letters denouncing Israel in order to “Free Palestine.” We have also witnessed demonic glee on the faces of those who have ripped down the posters of missing men, women and children still held hostage at the hands of Jihadist terrorists. Democrat members of "The Squad" have echoed terrorist propaganda through the halls of Congress and called Israel's attacks against Hamas "war crimes."

The level of animosity against Israel that is building is staggering and diabolic. Just weeks ago, Jewish babies were ripped from their mothers’ arms and beheaded, hundreds are still held in captivity, and yet a shocking majority still support the terrorists.

We will not stand for this delusion. Tonight, October 25th, we are holding, "A Night of Hope for Israel," in partnership with Godspeak Calvary Chapel. We will be gathering people from all backgrounds to worship, pray, and share together. My friend Yair Levi, an Israeli musician and former Israeli Defense Forces captain who received special permission from the Israeli Defense Forces to leave Israel, will be sharing Hebrew songs at this event. We will also have a Messianic Rabbi in attendance who will help answer questions on current events in Israel.

We will gather in solidarity in support of Israel and the many innocent civilians trapped in the middle of war. We will pray, worship, and cry out to God on behalf of the nation of Israel. In Genesis 12, even before God gave him the name Abraham, the Lord made a promise with Abram - a promise that still holds true today:

Genesis 12: 1-3

The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people, and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

“I will make you into a great nation,

and I will bless you;

I will make your name great,

and you will be a blessing.

I will bless those who bless you,

and whoever curses you I will curse;

and all peoples on earth

will be blessed through you.”
